There are differing statements about the egg-laying season of Verreaux's eagles living in South Africa; some sources state the time from April to November, others between April and July.

In any case, this is a new, still fairly inexperienced pair (a mating observed in the nest was just an attempt, and the nest renovation is a bit clumsy as well). In my opinion, the two are still in the process of strengthening their bond, so I don’t think we’ll see any eggs this season. But nature always has surprises in store…🙃
