Well, Stella ousted the original female Claire 09-18-2024. Stella is a very large female like the ones in Alaska. Claire was no match. It was very sad and Irv accepted Stella. There were no extreme battles, and Claire was last seen at the nest 10-11-2024 and spent the night. USS believes that Claire moved on and started a new chapter in her life. The nest has always been pretty quiet even prior to Stella arriving. It happens at a lot of eagles nests.

I am not sure if they ever determined how old she might be. She didn't seem to be a new mom with Ocho, from what I remember.

I’d also seen a post saying likely because of the railroad and noise it’s not a highly desirable area for eagles and they have to be a bit social or willing to be around humans.
