Remember OR7, named Ruthie, the younger daughter of our beloved couple Oren and Ruth?! She was found injured about 4 months ago! Now Ruthie and her cousin Kayla were released! So happy for these two sweet kids…and for you, AnneMarie!

Sharing tears of joy with you and so many! He did look straight at me and my heart was full! Yes, so sad for the mystery hawk and yet many people now know that there is help for wildlife and domestic animals in the link I posted. Onward to planning for next season's clutch!!

Awww Tears of Joy about Oren! 🥹. He looked straight at you bc he knew you were upset and he is reassuring you, "look at me, I'm doing great & will see you with Ruth and a clutch next season!" So happy.

I am always concerned for our urban birds with the developments of land, their land, it breaks my heart. Very sad to hear about the "mystery hawk" ~ never like to hear these kinds of things happen to our wildlife!

Thanks so much. No, he wasn’t around the mystery hawk, it was just a coincidence that Ruth was there, but it’s one of her favorite spots so not surprising. We have an idea about what happened but I don’t post details on Facebook. This hawk sadly was crushed under some gravel being dumped and gravely injured. You are so welcome. We will honor mystery hawk and thank him for educating people to dangers and helping wildlife in need.

So happy Oren has been spotted again and is doing well. Maybe he got into an altercation with the mystery hawk and needed some time to recuperate before he returned to his normal hangouts.🤷 We'll never know. Thank you for your amazing work for these animals. It is a beautiful thing to do to return the mystery hawk back to nature in one form or the other.

Thank you so very much for your kind and wise words. Every animal does count and I asked for a private cremation for mystery hawk so we can return him to the wild. I just wish I knew where he came from so I could return him to his mate if he has one, and yet, he inspired so many people to do something to help animals in need. It is certainly an amazing story with a happy ending for Oren and Ruth and so many people who follow them!
