S/he was banded and fitted with a transmitter at around 63 days of age (the exact hatching date was unknown). However, the camera stopped working at that time, so we were unable to track Äike’s further development.
But now, we have great news! Äike migrated over the winter and transmitted data from Poland on January 8.
