The two eggs were laid on March 29 and April 2. Now this pair is starting to get their nest prepared for another season. They both seem young and unexperienced. I just hope that 2027 will be a better year. And, oh yeah, those ravens again…

How unfortunate, is it too late for them to try a second clutch? Hope this nest isn't like West End!

Just found this...
2026 - The young pair that defended and claimed the Gleneagles nest as their own in the 2024/2025 season returned from migration in October to pick up where they left off and ultimately produced two eggs. Neither one hatched. The first egg was broken and partially eaten by a raven on day one; crows took the rest. The second egg was accidentally stepped on when the female was getting up in the night and the egg collapsed; the egg was left alone more than usual for the first few days and it's possible that the egg was damaged by a crow seen poking at the egg during that time.

Me too! The area is wonderful (thanks for the link), and so are the two cams—and apparently the cam operators, too... and hopefully Glen and Gladys as well.

You're welcome. It's so stunning with the solitary coniferous tree, and the water inlet or bay that leads into Howe Sound.

I willl most likely watch this nest as one of my top 5 choices for 2027.
