Then we see Lizard; he tries twice to get into the nest, but his kid fends him off and protects its prey. Dad leaves. Could this be one of those lessons, something like, β€œIf you have prey and don’t eat it right away, you have to protect it and defend it if necessary!” https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/8ddd67ce00e3aefe9fc72c582fb5e068951c1460178277223bba918a23ba3aad.gif After this incident, eaglet eats its prey… no one can take away from you what’s already in your stomach and/or crop!πŸ˜„

I’m always amazed at how patiently and calmly parents put up with their kid’s tantrums and various actions. It’s as if they knew that exactly that is what’s best for the kids’ survival.

Poor parents; after all they've done to raise their little ones, this is what they get to look forward to πŸ˜‚ That means they have done their job & they have done it very well πŸ¦…β€οΈ. So grateful little one is thriving and doing very well ~ we are lucky to still see him at "home" 😁
