She puts the bundle down, and the kids poke around in it; looks like they're finding something edible, like water insects, larvae, and worms. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/cf698d3120daf5085c5c2a97a0affea2a26b045db11790cf8b96c1ec8e38d85e.png

I never knew how to tell Mom and Dad apart. Until someone in the chat pointed out that Dad has a deep red beak all the way through. Now I know! Dad in the left pic, Mom in the right pic. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/dbcdd41dfc4d5c4d3f596641721a2201359a679e4963f954b5d718c1296dc1e3.png
It's so nice to see the bond between Dad and his three remaining kids. How much those two babies who lost their lives must have suffered, but Dad must have suffered, too. He couldn't help it... https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/6cdaf5eed00f2edf566bc9dc385fd630599c62e1dc037f5d2f6638ba27c0bdaa.png

Female arrives with food https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/386c245fdb602f32d041d1a5c5ec345ecd78ab27feae18e70329f9fd179fb2b7.png
Some of the fish brought to the nest come from what is known as a “fish basket.”

"The basket is located at about 4 km (2, miles) from the nest, on a small forest road, easier to reach. The parents found the basket. In the pictures below we presumably see the female.
The fish basket is over 100 km (62 miles) from Urmas’ home. So, fishing + driving take a lot of time. He filled the basket 6 times over the past three weeks. Local people will take over the work. Urmas hopes that will work. Urmas will try to refill the basket today, if he manages to catch enough fish in this rainy weather. He hopes the fish basket will not flood with all that rain.
The big fish aren’t from the fish basket. Urmas thinks they come from some fish farm." (from the forum 6/17) https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/978c2088bb42f0d2dc7350cab764d0126d1a9f0d133ccc8e077112de0a465cfd.png

The two stork chicks were culled when they were 17 and 20 days old, respectively, which is very late. Regarding this, here is an interesting post by Anne7 on the forum.
