It’s overcast here as well, but I don’t detect humidity. I have my AC running just to have some indoor airflow and to regulate the temperature slightly more in my favor.

No, I didn’t go to the market. I was able to make dinner without it the other evening, and Lorrie went grocery shopping yesterday. We’re stocked up enough for days, and she’s stopping for a few missed items before returning home today.

As for my day today, I’m getting work done and hope to be done by 5 p.m.

I believe you hit the nail on the head, pointing out the critical factor that allowed them to be lax and not show: I didn’t need an ambulance for life-threatening injury. The beer distributor owner did call the police. I opened my wallet with my state driver’s license showing so the owner could provide them with my info.

When I filed my report yesterday, I explained that all they had to do was go to the beer distributor and look at the camera recordings so they could ID the suspect. The suspect is always in my neighborhood within three blocks one way or the other. I believe he’s homeless, and he walks the streets with another male and a female daily. He’d be easy to find within an hour around here if they’d just do their jobs.
